For what purposes do we process your data?

Contact forms
We collect user's full name, email, phone number, company, city and country where they are based. This information is used to include subscribers in our distribution newsletter list and send our newsletter with updates about the activity of Cities Forum and specific news related to the scope of action of Cities Forum.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Who we share your data with
- Enquiry form data will not be shared with any third parties. They are solely processed internally at Cities Forum.
- When Cities Forum offers you a service through a third-party provider, your data will be communicated to this company, with strict obligation to confidentiality and after the formalisation of the corresponding contract for the provision of services.
- For subscribers to the newsletter, data will be processed by a third company (Mailchimp) which provides Cities Forum with the online platform to manage the newsletter, with which the due service contract has been agreed.
Cities Forum guarantees under no circumstances to sell, offer or market the data of its clients.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time.
